The Indianapolis Colts selected their second tight end to assist new quarterback Andrew Luck when they opened round three of the 2012 NFL Draft by taking Dwayne Allen from Clemson. Later, the Colts also added wide receiver T.Y. Hilton from Florida International. Arizona quarterback Nick Foles was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 25th pick in the third round, the 88th selection overall. The Oakland Raiders ended the third round with their first selection, and the first compensatory pick in the draft, by selecting guard Tony Bergstrom from Utah.
