By Chris Malumphy

Worst Week 9 QBRatings: Jets' Ryan Fitzpatrick 63.5, Eagles' Carson Wentz 64.5, Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger 67.3 and Colts' Andrew Luck 74.9. Only Luck won.

When you think Defense, you think Broncos. But the Raiders held Trevor Siemian to 48.6% completions in Week 9.

The Vikings problems extend to defense too. Vikes' defense had 19 sacks in their first 5 games. Only 2 sacks in the last three games.

Vikings' Sam Bradford completed 77.8% with a TD & 103.4 rating but 6.8 yds/att & 8.8 yds/comp were not enough against the woeful Lions' defense.

Buccaneers' Mike Glennon shows he is among the best backups by completing 10 of 11 (90.9%) for 75 yards, 1 TD, 0 Int, 0 sacks, 125.4 rating

49ers' Colin Kaepernink passes for Week 9 high of 398 yards with a 102.3 rating but still loses by 18 to the Saints and Drew Brees.

Running quarterbacks are often sacked; it is a multi-player, multi-season phenomenon. In Week 9: Panthers' Cam Newton 5 sacks, Bills' Tyrod Taylor 5 and Seahawks' Russell Wilson 4.

Ten quarterbacks (min 10 att) had QBRatings 100+ in Week 9. Of those, only the Vikings' Sam Bradford lost to a QB with a lower rating for the week.

Chiefs' Nick Foles led Kansas City's triumph over the Jaguars 19-14 albeit with a very Alex Smith-like 5.7 yards per attempt.

Raiders' Derek Carr was the only winning QB in Week 9 who did not throw a touchdown pass. Of course Oakland did beat the Broncos and its strong defense.
