RSS Feed65 Underclassmen Entering 2012 NFL Draft

The 2012 NFL Draft could include as many as 65 underclassmen who have been declared eligible for selection plus 3 additional seniors who have opted to forego additional college eligibility. The 65 underclassmen represent the largest group of underclassmen ever to enter the draft, topping the 56 who entered a year ago. Following is a list of the underclassmen and other early entries entering the 2012 NFL Draft sorted by position. Stanford quarterback Oliver Luck and Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III are expected to be the top two players drafted by the Indianapolis Colts and the Washington Redskins, respectively. If USC tackle Matt Kalil is drafted by the Minnesota Vikings and Alabama running back Trent Richardson is chosen by the Cleveland Browns, as many currently project, the top four picks would all be underclassmen.
