With the first pick in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft the Jacksonville Jaguars picked safety Andre Cisco from Syracuse. The Minnesota Vikings took Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond and the Houston Texans followed by selecting Stanford quarterback Davis Mills. Michigan tackle Jalen Mayfield goest to the Atlanta Falcons and the Cincinnati Bengals follow with Joseph Ossai, a defensive end from Texas. The Carolina Panthers drafted Brady Christensen, a tackle from BYU. Defensive back Aaron Robinson from Central Florida joins the New York Giants. The Detroit Lions selected defensive tackle Alim McNeill from North Carolina State. The Philadelphia Eagles picked Milton Williams, a defensive tackle from Louisiana Tech.
The Washington Football Team tabbed cornerback Benjamin St-Juste from Minnesota. UCLA defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa joins the Dallas Cowboys. The New Orleans Saints drafted Stanford corner Paulson Adebo. Wide receiver Josh Palmer from Tennessee will catch passes from Justin Herbert for the Los Angeles Chargers. North Carolina linebacker Chazz Surratt will play for the Minnesota Vikings.
With two picks in a row the Las Vegas Raiders select Buffalo defensive end Malcolm Koonce and Virginia Tech safety Divine Deablo. The Miami Dolphins gave Tua another target by selecting tight end Hunter Long from Boston College. North Carolina Dyami Brown joins the Washington Football Team. Notre Dame tight end Tommy Tremble will provide some blocks for Christian McCaffrey in Carolina. The Dallas Cowboys continue to improve its defense by adding defensive end Chauncey Golston from Iowa.
Aaron Rodgers finally gets a wide receiver to throw to in Amari Rodgers from Clemson. Ohio State guard Wyatt Davis joins the Vikings. The Pittsburgh Steelers, with a woeful offensive line, add Illinois guard Kendrick Green. The San Francisco 49ers take Ohio State running back Trey Sermon. Michigan wide receiver Nicole Collins was drafted by the Houston Texans. The Minnesota Vikings took edge rusher Patrick Jones from Pittsburgh. The Cleveland Browns add speed on offensive with wide receiver Anthony Schwartz from Auburn.
The Tennessee Titans drafted Georgia linebacker Monty Rice. Northern Iowa tackle Spencer Brown joins the Buffalo Bills. The Baltimore Ravens picked Georgia guard Ben Cleveland. Robert Hainsey, a Notre Dame tackle, was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The compensatory picks began when the New England Patriots took Oklahoma defensive end Ronnie Perkins. Georgia tight end Tre' McKinley was taken by the Los Angeles Chargers. Wisconsin-Whitewater sends center Quinn Meinerz to the Denver Broncos. The Dallas Cowboys continued to attack their defensive woes by adding Oregon State defensive back Nashon Wright. Washington defensive back Elijah Molden is headed to the Tennessee Titans. The Detroit Lions followed with Syracuse defensive back Ifeatu Melifonwu. Michigan defensive back Ambry Thomas was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers. Linebacker Ernest Jones of South Carolina went to the Los Angeles Rams. SMU defensive back Brandon Stephens was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens. Ohio State linebacker Baron Browning was taken by the Denver Broncos following a trade with the New Orleans Saints with the final pick in the third round.
