Mississippi State safety Brandon Bryant, Oregon State linebacker Bright Ugwoegbu and Grand Valley State running back Martayveus Carter were also eligible to be drafted but went unselected. It has been reported that the New York Jets are likely to sing Bryant as a free agent.

Among the better known players selected in prior Supplemental Drafts were defensive end Reggie White, wide receiver Cris Carter, quarterbacks Steve Young and Bernie Kosar and tackle Gary Zimmerman. Wide receivers Josh Gordon and Terrelle Pryor are two current players that were selected in Supplemental drafts.
